When To Choose It
- Brackets, covers, containers, everyday-use parts
- A practical step up from PLA for parts that need toughness, some give, and better moisture resistance.
- Choose PETG when PLA feels too brittle but you do not need the higher-end performance of nylon composites.
- It works well for shop fixtures, splash-prone parts, and clips that benefit from a little flex.
- Use it for functional indoor parts; move to ASA for sun exposure or PAHT-CF for heavier loads.
