1. Information We Collect

When you use Protomass 3D, we may collect information such as:

• Your name and email address
• Order and billing information
• Information you provide when contacting us for support
• 3D model files that you upload (such as STL, OBJ, STEP, STP, or 3MF)

Google Sign-In

If you choose to sign in using your Google account, we use Google OAuth to authenticate your identity.

With your permission, we may receive the following information from your Google account:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your Google account profile picture (if available)
• A unique Google account identifier used to authenticate your account

We only request the information necessary to create and manage your account.

We do not access your Gmail, Google Drive, Google Photos, Contacts, Calendar, or any other Google data unless we explicitly request additional permission and explain why it is needed.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information only to:

• Create and manage your account
• Authenticate you when you sign in
• Provide instant quotes and process orders
• Respond to questions or support requests
• Improve the website and user experience
• Communicate with you regarding your orders or account

We do not use your Google account information for advertising purposes.

3. Uploaded Files (Important)

When you upload a 3D model file (such as STL, OBJ, STEP, STP, or 3MF), the file is used only to:

• Analyze geometry and generate a quote
• Prepare and complete your print order

Your uploaded files are treated as private. We do not sell, share, or publicly display your models.

Files may be temporarily stored on our systems to provide quotes, process orders, and fulfill printing services. We take reasonable steps to protect these files from unauthorized access.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information or uploaded files.

We may share limited information with trusted service providers only as necessary to operate our business, including:

• Payment processors
• Shipping providers
• Secure cloud hosting providers

If you use Google Sign-In, your Google account information is used solely for authentication and account management. We do not share Google user data with third parties except as necessary to provide the service, comply with applicable law, or with your explicit consent.

Optional advertising measurement

When enabled and with your renewed permission, OpenAI measurement counts a successfully submitted order request before payment. This is a lead submission, not a paid purchase. We use an image request with an opaque event identifier and, when available, an OpenAI ad click reference. The reference is saved in this browser only after permission, for up to 30 days, and removed when permission is withdrawn. The request sends only our site's origin as its referrer and includes no order identifier, full page URL, model details, filenames, contact information, or revenue. OpenAI receives ordinary network information including IP address and browser details. We do not load OpenAI's JavaScript SDK or use its automatic advanced matching. A short-lived first-party receipt verifies that an order request was just created; browser storage prevents repeated counting. An earlier Google-only choice does not enable OpenAI.

When advertising measurement is enabled, we ask for your choice before loading the Google Ads tag. If you allow it, Google can use advertising cookies and click identifiers to measure whether an ad led to a completed print quote. This is not a purchase or payment. Google may also receive technical information such as your IP address and browser details. Our conversion event includes a random measurement identifier to avoid counting the same quote repeatedly. Google also receives the page address and title, which can include your technical quote reference. This reference alone does not provide access to your quote. Our conversion integration does not send your model file, filename or contact information. Enhanced conversions and personalized advertising are not enabled by this integration.

You can decline and continue using all quoting and ordering features. Use Cookie preferences at the bottom of the page to change your choice. Withdrawing permission stops future measurement; it does not remove data previously sent to Google or OpenAI. We remember your choice in this browser for up to 180 days. You can also clear this site's cookies and browser storage. See Google's advertising information.

5. Data Retention

We retain your information only for as long as necessary to:

• Provide our services
• Maintain your account
• Process and fulfill orders
• Comply with legal and operational requirements

If you delete your account or request deletion of your personal data, we will remove or anonymize your information unless we are required to retain it by law.

6. Security

We take reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect your personal information and uploaded files.

While we strive to safeguard your data, no method of transmission or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Choices and Rights

You may:

• Request access to the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction or deletion of your personal information
• Disconnect your Google account from Protomass 3D at any time through your Google Account settings or by contacting us

To submit a privacy request, email support@protomass3d.com with the subject “Privacy request.”

If you revoke Google Sign-In access, you may no longer be able to use Google authentication to access your account unless another sign-in method is available.

8. Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page and the Last updated date shown above will be revised.
