- Tooling, enclosures, mechanical housings
- A tougher engineering plastic for hard-use indoor parts that need better impact and heat resistance than PLA.
- Choose ABS for indoor parts that may get bumped, handled often, or sit near moderate heat.
- It is a better fit than PLA for utility parts and a better fit than ASA when weather resistance is not needed.
- Use it for enclosures and mechanical covers rather than fine cosmetic models.
